In terms of internet time: this is an “old” song — but was reminded of the doing-everything-with-practically-nothing awesomeness of Matt and Kim’s “Yea Yeah” music video.
After that, it’s a little surreal watching the same performance done in super low-fi live acoustic version. The space created by the blurry resoution and their surroundings totally skew out the feeling of the piece. I wonder if the online experience of video is going to change in the same way when you have people start to contribute content to the internet away from “in front of” computer settings and at higher than ever sharpness (rather than old school pixelated webcam)
